Joe Bonamassa and Epiphone have teamed up to bring one of the most iconic Gibson guitars to a new market. This Epiphone 1958 Black Beauty is based upon Joe's personal example in his awesome collection. This guitar is full of vintage tone and feel.

It unfortunately has succumbed to some moderate body scratching on its travels, as well as a scrape on the headstock tip and a scuff on the binding by the neck pocket. Featuring a rich and resonant Mahogany body body finished in the iconic Ebony Gloss paired with period correct multi-ply body binding.it's a classic era colour that perfectly complements this stunning guitar. Delivering a powerful and authentic tone, this Black Beauty is super resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that vintage appeal.
The neck is crafted from Mahogany and features a gorgeous Ebony fingerboard, embellished with pearloid block inlays. With 22 frets, a 24.75" scale length and a 50s neck profile it feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or heavy chord strumming.
For a guitar of such legendary status you really do need a pickup set that can do it justice. Loaded with a ProBucker 3 in the bridge and a pair of ProBucker 2s in the middle and neck position. These pickups are beautifully articulate and really do deliver those classic 50s and 60s Gibson tones. Finished with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a Stop Bar tailpiece you can expect incredible tuning stability and intonation.
