With a solid Mahogany body and Maple Top it is resonant and super punchy, exact what you need night after night when playing in a band like Tool! Finished with a ’79 spec Silverburst this Les Paul is super slick and looks exactly like Adam’s prized original. These extra special guitars are a real statement and are certainly more than just a signature instrument, they offer an explosion of mega tone, awesome playability and a hypnotic aesthetic that only Gibson/Epiphone can deliver.
The Maple neck boasts a 24.75" scale length, alongside an Ebony fingerboard with block inlays; it feels perfectly balanced and poised, just as a Les Paul should. With an Adam Jones custom spec neck profile it offers a great base for both monstrous riffs and slick lead lines. It also features a Gibson spec open book headstock profile alongside a replica two-inch convex mirror.
Such an incredible guitar needs a pickup pairing capable of the wide range of tones a player like Adam Jones requires. Loaded with a reverse mounted Gibson Custombucker in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker at the bridge, you have everything you need to replicate that crushing Tool tone!
