With years of experience making analogue delay and modulation pedals, Electro-Harmonix use their formidable expertise to bring you three classic effects (delay, chorus and vibrato) and house them all in a single compact pedal.
The original Deluxe Memory Man pedal has been around since the 1970s and whilst this smaller version captures the sound of original, it also expands on it. Extra dials in the form of rate and depth knobs give extra control that wasn't possible before. The delay time is adjustable from a rapid slapback style 30ms to a much longer 550ms, giving the player plenty of versatility. An internal switch allows the user to have tails decay naturally or instantly end when the pedal is bypassed. The depth control sets the amount of modulation that is added to the the delay (giving vibrato and chorus style sounds) whilst the rate control dictates the speed. The pedal comes complete with a 9-volt power supply and is assembled in New York.
