What sets this amp apart is its ability to deliver an authentic class A experience. You have the choice to operate the single EL84 output section in Pentode or Triode mode. In Pentode mode, you'll revel in the signature MAZ 18 chimey top end and rich low end, but at a significantly more manageable volume. This mode offers ample dynamic range, catering to everything from clean country picking to gritty riff rock. For those seeking even more, the footswitchable EQ bypass function provides a gain boost for searing leads with seemingly endless sustain.
