Cort is thrilled to introduce the LUXE Nylon, a masterpiece of hybrid construction developed in collaboration with the iconic guitar maestro Frank Gambale, as a solution to his long quest for a nylon string guitar with a slimmer and faster neck that matches his intricate and refined playing style. Drawing inspiration from his former signature model, the Luxe steel-string guitar, the new model features a renewed Art Deco design theme, which is prominently displayed in the newly designed fingerboard inlays and soundhole rosette. The body of the guitar is constructed using all-solid blackwood, enhancing its aesthetic beauty and provides a rich and balanced tone that is sure to captivate the senses of all guitar enthusiasts.

One of the most significant features of the Luxe Nylon is its deep concert body shape, which produces more resonation, body, and volume projection than conventional concert body guitars, while still retaining the comfort of a smaller body. The body is also constructed using solid flamed blackwood for the top and solid blackwood for the back and sides. The unique characteristics of blackwood are similar to a perfect blend of several tonewoods, which make it suitable for both strumming and fingerpicking, providing responsive clarity and power due to its dense characteristics.

Frank Gambale's devotion to Art Deco influence is reflected in the LUXE Nylon's artistic design, as can be seen in the newly designed fingerboard inlay and soundhole rosette. The Fishman Flex Blend System is another noteworthy feature of this guitar. This innovative system offers a broad range of sonic control and includes a built-in tuner. The system has three knobs, including Volume, Tone w/Phase option, and Blend w/Tuner option, which allow players to make sound adjustments that best suit their playing style - switching between the onboard mic and Fishman Sonicore pickup. The Tone knob can also be adjusted to suit fingerpicking or strumming techniques without feedback issues or other sonic anomalies while delivering the most natural acoustic sound to your amplification system.

The Graph Tech TUSQ nut and saddle are preferred by many guitar makers and players for their rich tone and sustain. This advanced polymer is formed under high heat and pressure for uniform density, making it ideal for transferring string energy more efficiently and making guitars come alive with enhanced harmonics, volume, and sustain. The Luxe Nylon's 45mm (1 3/4") nut width provides a more familiar feel of the neck for players who are more accustomed to steel string guitars, enabling a virtually seamless switch between nylon and steel string guitars without discomfort. The Ebony Fingerboard and Bridge, which are both made of a strong and dense wood, provide a tight and coherent low-end with enhanced mids, while the jet-black colour imparts a sense of class and luxury.

The final specs of the guitar really tie it all up - with Mahogany neck attached via a dovetail neck joint, 20 frets on a 25.6" scale length, tortoise binding, vintage classic tuners, hand-scalloped X-bracing, and sonically enhanced UV finish - and all protected with the included hard case.
