The Cornford Harlequin is a hand-wired, 6-Watt no nonsense amplifier. With the intention of being a "Recording Amplifier" with a stripped back tone control for ease of use for all us guitarists out there. The Harlequin utilizes two 12AX7s in the Pre amps stage and a singular EL84 driving the power stage! But don't be mistaken, this beauty sure does pack a punch!
The Harlequin beautifully melds power-ampand front end valve distortion to produce a warm and rich gain tone even when being pushed to its full potential. Even with a stripped back tone control stage there is so much versatility within this amp that really will lend its self to any guitarist in need.
This amp may have been designed as a recording amplifier but trust me. It is that, and so much more. Come on down and give it a try!
