The top of the C1M-CE is made from spruce and is complimented with mahogany back and sides. This is a classic choice for nylon-strung guitars and with good reason - it sounds great! The top is fan braced; this style of bracing (pioneered on classical guitars by Antonio de Torres Jurado) gives a far superior bass response and dynamics when compared to a ladder-braced classical.
Amazingly for the price point the guitar has binding on the top and back, features a classical mosaic rosette and is finished in a satin polyurethane. The guitar comes strung with a high-quality Savarez set and pearl buttons on the tuners complete the elegant look.
The neck is a little bit slimmer than on a traditional classical, coming in at a 50mm width at the nut. Due to having a truss rod running through the neck, the guitar can be properly maintained and any adjustments can be easily made, if ever needed. To sum this model up, it is a fantastic student guitar that is easy to play and sounds great for the price point.
