The traditional Alder body is typically well balanced and comfortable, as all Strat's are, and with a crisp Transparent Purple Burst finish it looks real slick. It's super resonant and delivers a bell like high end, punchy mids and robust lows with flawless precision.
The Caramelized Maple neck features a 12"-16" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. With a speed neck and rolled fingerboard edges alongside Luminlay side dots and 22 medium jumbo frets it offers a really comfortable playing experience; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. Whilst you're up at the high frets you can guarantee ease of access with Charvel's Shredder's Cut heel joint and scalloped lower back bout.
A pair of EMG SA1 single coils in neck and middle positions offer the player that unmistakable Strat sound with the added benefit of active circuitry - internal shielding and the low impedance preamp grant you a virtually noiseless pickup without sacrificing a true single coil tone. Meanwhile, in the bridge position is the EMG 89, essentially housing two pickups in one enclosure. Whilst in humbucking mode, this ickup offers users a rich, warm, and powerful Alnico V tonality which remains clear and articulate. By activating the push-pull on the volume control, the 89 gets split to a single coil which greatly resembles the EMG SA.
With the Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking tremolo bridge, this modern and mean take on the classic Strat can take whatever tunes you throw at it.
