The C.F Martin Custom Shop D-28 1937 offers authentic vintage styling, every element of this guitar has been designed to offer a true vintage playing experience. With a thin Adirondack Spruce top and premium East Indian Rosewood back and sides, beautifully aged to give the aesthetic qualities of a well loved and cherished instrument passed down through the generations. Thanks to a forward shifted X-brace the Custom Shop Expert D-28 is equally at home fingerpicking or strumming big, brash chords. The stunning Spruce top is topped off with Antique White binding, a 28 Multi-Stripe Rosette and a bold Herringbone inlay, it looks super slick.
The genuine Mahogany neck is an absolute dream to play, with a '37 Authentic Shape with a Standard Taper, 25.4" Scale Length, 1 3/4" Nut Width and Abalone Authentic '37 Diamond & Square Long Pattern inlays on an Ebony board. It is super comfortable and delivers a secure and comfortable playing platform.
With Waverly Open Gear tuners along side other premium features such as an Ebony '30s style bridge and a bone nut you can expect incredible quality. The Custom Shop Expert series opens you up to the next level of the Martin Custom Shop, they are the absolute pinnacle of acoustic guitars.
