BOSS TB-2W | Waza Craft Tone Bender
Sola Sound Tone Bender MK II Fuzz With Waza Craftsmanship
As the first ever British fuzz pedal released in 1965 under the Sola Sound brand it is pretty safe to say the well loved originals have a firm place in guitar history as one of the most important pedals ever released.
Our good friends over at Boss are industry leads in just about every field, whether it's a Pedal, Multi-Effects, Cable or Amplifier, if it features the iconic Boss name you can rest assured of it being incredibly well built with the best components around. The new TB-2W Waza-Craft Tone Bender is an authentic sonic recreation of the iconic Tone Bender MKII fuzz pedal used by some of the greatest players of all time. As the first ever British fuzz pedal released in 1965 under the Sola Sound brand it is pretty safe to say the well loved originals have a firm place in guitar history as one of the most important pedals ever released.
This collaboration between Boss and Solar Sound bring the infamous Tone Bender to the next generation. The guys were very selective about which original Tone Bender to use as the benchmark for this project, after finding a premium example, the Boss engineers set to work studying and learning from this great piece of design. Through the use of detailed Waza craftsmanship, Boss were able to capture the magic sound and expressive dynamic response. The TB-2W beautifully recreates that classic 1960s fuzz tone that we all know and love.
Available in a limited production run, each TB-2W features rare germanium transistors carefully tested for optimum tone, a three-way voltage voltage selector, selectable true/buffered bypass operation, and a refined circuit design for ultra-consistent performance from pedal to pedal.
Thanks to the TB-2W a whole new generation of players will now experience the magic of the Tone Bender MKII fuzz. If you're after that classic early 1960's fuzz sound then there is no better option.
