The updated BOSS Tone Studio app simplifies remote amp and effects editing, making it more intuitive than ever.
The Katana-50 Gen 3 is equipped with a custom 12-inch speaker, delivering punchy, stage-ready sound. It offers six amp characters, including the newly developed Pushed type, each with a selectable variation, providing twelve distinctive tones. Five independent effects sections - Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb - offer fifteen unique effects, enhanced sound quality, and grab-and-go parameter controls. With four Tone Setting memories, users can store and recall complete amp and effect setups effortlessly.
An integrated Power Control allows players to achieve cranked-amp tones at lower volumes without sacrificing sound quality, ideal for both live performances and quiet practice sessions. The BOSS Tone Studio app offers deep parameter controls, effect order adjustments, multiple EQ settings, and new visual enhancements, making tone crafting faster and more intuitive. Players can customise the onboard effects from over 60 different types and save and organise Livesets for different playing applications.
Versatile connectivity options include a Power Amp In for preamps, modellers, and multi-effects, a stereo headphones jack, and a USB output with IR-based cabinet sound.
