The Boss Katana series is famed for its versatility and usability, both of which can clearly be seen here. With intuitive panel controls it’s easy to shape and refine your tone in detail. The studio inspired “Blend” section allows you as the play to mix in some of your original dry section, perfect cutting through in any live setting. A sensitive 4-band EQ section is also on hand for further tone crafting.
The Katana-210 Bass features 160 watts, two 10-inch woofers, and a tweeter, offering extra power and fullness for larger performance setups. The tweeter provides high-frequency definition for slap and other modern styles and can be disabled for a more traditional sound if desired. Each model also includes an efficient bi-amp design backed by time-tested class AB power plus a variable power control for achieving optimum sound at any volume
With a plethora of onboard Boss effects the new Boss Katana is the ultimate live or studio tool. A dedicated compressor/limiter and drive section provide the core processing while FX1 and FX2 offer up a treasure trove of options from the Boss bass effects library. There’s also over 60 total effect types available for loading via the Boss Tone Studio editor.
