We’re thrilled to announce that Bad Cat has once again teamed up with legendary amp designer, Mark Sampson! After two decades apart, we’re excited to see these two influential names back together once again! The Bad Cat Era 30 takes us right back to the early days of Mark Sampson’s career. It utilises over 35 years of Sampson’s expertise in engineering and artistry.

This 30-watt EL-84 powered amplifier features two independent channels designed for extreme power and versatility. Channel One is powered by an EF86 tube for a harmonically rich, three-dimensional tone with precision tone-shaping controls. Channel Two features a 12AX7 tube, creating a tight, punchy tone with loads of vintage vibe and chime. Each channels gain control acts as a traditional input gain, allowing you to dial in just the right amount of distortion.

One of this amp’s most exciting features is the addition of six position rotary Depth control. Each step on the switch is individually calibrated with a unique capacitor value to fine tune your Era 30’s bass response. The further clockwise you go, the thicker your tone will become.

The fully buffered effects loop allows for crystal clear signal quality. The loop is completely hard bypassed when not plugged in, preserving your signal’s pure, unaltered path.
