Fender '64 Custom Deluxe Reverb | Black
Freshly announced at the summer NAMM 2017 event, it's a reiussue of one of Fenders finest amps in a history full of fine amps.
A two-channel handwired '64 Custom Deluxe Reverb is a powerhouse of vintage tone, and it's sound can be found all over a bunch of hit records from the era. It's a 20 Watt amplifier, driven by three 12AX7's and two 12AT7's for the preamp tubes, and two 6V6's for the power tubes. Speaker wise its loaded with a Jensen C-12Q, a perfect choice for making that lovely Fender spanky sound.
Controls on the amp are simple yet effective. Seperate volume, treble and bass for both channels, and of course also global reverb, vibrato speed and intensity controls that can be used on either channel too. The built spring Reverb and Tremolo both sound absolutely lovely and rich as well as you'd probably expect from this pedigree.
It's a fantastic and responsive amp full of handwired vintage vibe. It's great for warm and clean tones, right up to some medium breakup tones.
