The Fender Princeton is one of the most important amps ever put into production. For 50 years it's been a popular choice for guys such as Glen Campbell, Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell and even the Beach Boys. It set the standard for small tube driven combos and is great for small club gigs, home rehearsal and studio sessions. One of the most prominent modern day users is 5 time Grammy award winning Country supremo Chris Stapleton.
For NAMM 2019 Fender have announced the hand wired Chris Stapleton signature '62 Princeton, packed with vintage vibes, this little powerhouse delivers dynamic cleans and that unmistakable Fender tremolo. With 12 watts of power, it features a pair of 6V6 output tubes, one 5Y3 rectifier tube, two 12AX7 preamp tubes and the 6G2 circuit with blue tone caps and Schumacher transformers, it's a great mix that delivers a superstar tone.
A 12" Eminence designed CS speaker makes sure your sound really cuts through, while the tube biased tremolo adds some real sparkle and texture to your sound. It has all those classic Fender cleans and breaks up really nicely when pushed hard, it's a great take on a classic era amp.
The acoustically resonant solid pine cabinet wears rough brown textured vinyl covering, wheat grille cloth and thick dark brown leather handle, while the dark brown control panel sports dark brown 'radio' knobs and the rear panel features an engraved brass plate with Chris Stapleton artwork.
With a 1 button footswitch included, this is one cracking little amp!
