Inspired by the flagship BOSS Waza amp, the Katana fuses traditional craftsmanship with revolutionary functions to produce a stage ready tone for players of all levels. Light weight and extremely portable, the Katana features 5 unique amp characters - Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown and Acoustic. Each amp voice is fully customisable thanks to the 55 on board effects and the Boss Tone Studio software.
The magic of the Katana Air is that it is completely wireless and can be battery powered, giving you the freedom to play anywhere without the hassle of leads and cables. With a custom transmitter that just plugs into your guitar jack, you get up to 12 hours of playing time on a single charge. When you need more juice, simply plug the transmitter into the cradle on the top of the amp and let the amp do its thing! It’s super simple and kicks out 30watts when connected to an AC power supply or 20watts when running on batteries.
With a dedicated EQ and effects controls you have total control of your tone on the fly, it's really easy to shape your sound and find that winning tone. When you have found the sound that works for you, you can save 6 of them thanks to the tone memory facility.
