The Carol Ann HS-2+ is the mean bigger brother of the highly popular HS-2. Carol Ann amps are all handcrafted using the finest materials and feature point to point wiring; there are no gimmicks or tone sucking features here, just pure, organic valve tones. Each amp is hand tested by Carol Ann head honcho Alan Phillips before undergoing a live band run through, it's a level of care unlike any other manufacturer and ensures that each amp is running at optimum efficiency before dispatch.
The HS-2+ is a twin channel, low wattage tone machine, perfect for studio or home use it delivers the crisp, harmonic quality that only precision built amps can offer. Channel A goes from smooth cleans to a lush crunchy overdrive, you can push it really hard with great results. It's super responsive and totally adaptable. Channel B is a more traditional overdrive channel and is a real winner.
Unlike the HS-2, the + runs with 6L6 tubes for a more classic overdrive while it now features an additional footswitchable gain boost and channel switch. It's a real masterpiece in tone capture, working players and tone fiends are going to love it!
