AER Compact 80 Pro | 80-Watt Acoustic Combo

AER has long been the benchmark for amplifying acoustic instruments, renowned for its dynamic, natural, and fresh sound, with all products crafted in Germany. The latest addition to their range is the Compact 80 Pro amplifier, designed to offer more channels, increased power, and an innovative coupling system for optimal stage performance. This model features two DI outputs for seamless integration with front-of-house systems, maintaining the simple and reliable operation characteristic of AER Compact systems.

The amplifier's cutting-edge power amp design provides additional headroom for live performances, while its four channels accommodate various instruments or high-quality condenser microphones. The 8-inch AER Custom Twin Cone speakers further enhance the input signal processing. Additionally, the adjustable AUX interface supports safe PlayAlong functionality via CD or smartphone.

Key features include two high-end DI outputs, four onboard effects that can be mixed into two channels via the PAN control, and a weight of just 10 kg, making it highly portable with its padded gig bag. The amplifier also offers a 2-3 band EQ, a couple function for monitoring a second amp, and an AUX interface. 

The equaliser includes three-band tone controls for Channels 1 and 3 and two-band controls for Channels 2 and 4, along with a ‘mid-cut-treble-boost’ filter. Effects include two digital processors with presets for reverb, delay, and chorus. The power amp delivers 80W at 8 ohms, with features like an analog signal subsonic filter, low distortion processing, and an RMS limiter. The two-way speaker system uses an 8-inch polypropylene low-midrange with neodymium alloy magnets. Additional features include a couple-in, ground lift, switchable 9V phantom power, adjustable AUX in, footswitch for effects, tuner, line out, adjustable DI-out, parallel effect loop, and headphone output.
