The Tone King Sky King is a real statement piece, inspired by the sounds of the '50s and '60s, it truly captures the vibe, look and feel of '50s America. With two channels this amp delivers a finely tuned overdrive, boosted by a smooth top end and more harmonic complexity, it's an amp that certainly lives up to the Tone King name. Giving the classic response of vintage tweed amps, the Sky King features a no nonsense 3 knob control layout for each channel.
Loaded with a pair of Tone King Ironman II power attenuators you can enjoy those majestic tube driven tones at any volume. With one for each channel you can dial in the perfect performance to volume balance. The 6-Step attenuation maintains the feel and response meaning you don't compromise on tone to attain lower volume performance.
Part of the classic American sound was the inclusion of spring reverb and slick modulation, with a bias modulation tremolo circuit and a tube driven spring reverb, you get a perfectly balanced vintage sound. Perfect for creating lush, sweeping textures, it's a real plus point to this amp.
Utilising a 12" 1660 by Celestion speaker and 2 x 6L6,
4 x 12AX7A, 1 x 12AT7 and 1 x 5U4GT tubes, the Tone King Sky King is an
