Inspired by classic S-type guitars from the ‘60s the Tom Anderson Icon Classic offers a unique blend of classic styling and modern playability.
With a resonant Alder body the Icon Classic is super punchy in tone perfect for cutting through in a live situation. Finished in a Black nitro lacquer this Icon Classic just oozes cool. This guitar has been spec’d with Tom Anderson’s level 1 distressing, which creates the appearance of a well-maintained Rock ‘n Roll relic, it features a few slight dings and some very light lacquer checking. Classy and understated, Tom Anderson guitars always look a cut above.
The Caramel Maple neck has an Even Taper +30 profile and Natural Satin feel, for a slick but stable neck grip. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a brilliant playing surface, perfect for every style.
Rocking Tom Anderson VA7R, VA7 and HC2+ pickups, you have tonnes of tonal options here, it has a really nice, focussed tone. With locking tuners and a vintage tremolo bridge, you get incredible tuning stability and intonation.
