With a Mahogany body finished in a lush Black, this guitar feels robust but perfectly balanced, the Maple top completing this tone wood dream team. The Mahogany neck has a satin finish and with its Indian Rosewood fretboard and 10"-14" radius, it's real comfortable and smooth underhand. The even C profile allows for a perfect feel right up the neck and the laser engraved Pete Thorn signature inlay is a nice touch. Incredible tuning stability comes courtesy of a Wilkinson WVS 130 tremolo bridge and Suhr locking tuners, precise and responsive, they are a great feature.
Loaded with his own Thornbucker pickups, including a Thornbucker + at the bridge, this guitar delivers a really broad spectrum of tones. A guitar player like Thorn needs a dynamic and versatile guitar that can cover a wide range of bases and this guitar certainly does that.
