The Koji Comp features several controls for precise sound shaping. The COMP control adjusts the amount of compression applied to your signal path, providing full control over gain reduction. The LEVEL knob allows you to set the overall output volume, compensating for any changes caused by compression. The ATTACK control determines how quickly the compressor reacts to your signal, allowing you to fine-tune the response based on your playing style.
One of the standout features of the Koji Comp is its Parallel Compression capability, accessible via the MIX knob. This control enables you to blend the compressed signal with your dry signal, offering complete flexibility in the amount of compression applied. With a range of 10% to 100% dry-to-compressed signal blend, you can easily achieve a sound that is either aggressive or transparent, depending on your preference.
The Voice Switch on the Koji Comp offers further tonal shaping options. With three positions, it allows you to adjust the frequency response of the pedal. The left position boosts the upper midrange, enhancing the attack of your picking. The middle position offers a flat, transparent response.
