This set addresses two tension issues which tend to be found within typical 10-52 sets, that being the 2nd string is too light and the 5th string is too heavy, they have fixed this by subbing in a 13.5 for the typical 13 and lowering the gague of the 5th string from a 40 to a 42. These small but valuble tweaks give the Strinjoy 10-52 set great balance and playability.
