Today we are super excited to reveal the next addition to the PRS artist collection, the PRS Limited Edition Joe Walsh McCarty 594.
Constructed with a rich and resonant Mahogany body with a truly breathtaking Violin Carve Flame Maple top. Finished in a classic McCarty Sunburst this guitar is full of vintage appeal and perfect for all you singlecut lovers, and thanks to the "Cracking" Nitro Lacquer this guitar will really start to take on the characteristics of your playing. The McCarty family of guitars are built passionately to embody vintage soul and appointments whilst utilising the precision of modern PRS techniques, this feels great out the box.
In classic PRS fashion the Mahogany neck is comfortable and easy to navigate, with a Pattern Vintage neck and bound Brazillian Rosewood fingerboard it both looks and feels stunning, adorned with old school bird inlays, 22 stainless steel frets and of course a 24.594" scale length. The Brazillian Rosewood board along side Stainless Steel frets deliver incredible playability and a soulful vintage tone. A super awesome detail on this Joe Walsh signature is the inclusion of Paul Reed Smith's handwritten signature on the front of the headstock, it looks super slick.
To help deliver those iconic single cut tones we all know and love PRS have fitted this beauty with a pair of 58/15 LT+ pickups which offer exceptional clarity, focused midrange and vintage character. Whether you are looking for rich, authentic humbucking tones or sweet single-coils these pickups will deliver.
A PRS Two-Piece Stoptail bridge with Vintage-Style tuners top of this build, delivering a secure and stable playing experience. With only 200 of these guitars being produced, each being hand signed by Joe it is really something special, make sure to grab yours whilst you can.
