This area, rich in surfing, skateboarding, auto craft, music, art, and architecture, has deeply influenced Powers' approach. The guitar's asymmetrical shape balances visual appeal with ergonomic efficiency, resulting in a fully enclosed, slim hollowbody design that is as beautiful as it is functional.
Exceptional Playability
The Powers Electric A-Type prioritises player comfort and playability. Its lightweight, hollow body ensures effortless handling whether standing or sitting, while the contoured armrest and radiused body edges enhance the overall playing experience. The neck is a perfect blend of size, offering a smooth transition into the unique split radius fretboard. This asymmetrical fretboard, which is flatter on the treble side, allows for seamless string bending and maximum playability, encouraging players to explore new ideas and express their unique sound.

This model of the A-Type is equipped with PF42 (partial Faraday) pickups, designed to deliver a firm, bright sound. The trussed hollowbody, featuring internal soundposts and a braced solid-wood top, maximises resonance and lyrical sustain while effectively suppressing feedback.
