This Macon Special is one of his very best, with stunning aesthetics, flawless playability, and unrivalled tonal quality; it's a marker for other guitar manufacturers to learn from.
The beautiful Mahogany body is paired up with a plain grain Maple top, finished in a sweet Meteor Blue Nitro lacquer it offers incredible resonance and a rich organic tone. The finish allows the wood to breathe which delivers better definition and clarity and doesn't stifle the tonal quality of the body. This Macon Special also features a vibrant fire stripe pickguard which beautifully compliments the body. It's an absolute stunner that's for sure!
This Macon features a Roasted Maple neck and a 12" radius Rosewood fingerboard, with a Fat C profile, 24 5/8" scale and medium/tall Jescar #55090 frets it is familiar, well balanced and supremely comfortable.
To complement this tone machine this guitar is equipped with a staple P90 at the neck while a Mojo-Tron humbucker takes place at the bridge. Covering all your tonal bases with ease, the Macon delivers a super refined, premium tone, it's a monster guitar, perfect for any playing situation.
