First up, from the King of Country, the Brad Paisley Road Worn Esquire! Paisley is one of the most decorated and highest grossing artists on the planet, and a mean player too. A long time player of Telecasters, the Road Worn Esquire offers a fresh take on a ‘50s classic. With a paulownia body, with a black sparkle finish, this Esquire is lightweight, perfectly balanced and looks incredible under stage lights! The real magic is under the hood though, a custom wound ‘64 Tele single coil sits in the traditional bridge position, while a sneaky Brad Paisley signature Secret Agent pickup hides under that intricate paisley pickguard! 

If you’re a little less chicken pickin’ and a little more teenage angst, the Fender Kurt Cobain Jagstang might be more your thing! Combining elements from Kurt’s favoured Jaguar and Mustang, the Jagstang debuted on the European leg of the “In Utero” tour back in ‘94. Although seldom used before Kurt’s untimely demise, the Jagstang has become something of a cult classic. Available for short runs in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s, it made a return to the Fender catalogue back in 2021 and it’s better than ever! With its instantly recognisable body shape and HS pickup configuration, it’s a versatile and dynamic choice. If you’re looking to add a slice of anarchy to your rig, this is the guitar for you!

Maybe you’d like something that fuses the magic of both of these guitars? A Telecaster with an eye-catching sparkle finish from one of the early ‘90s most important alt-rockers, sounds great, right? Well, the Fender J Mascis Telecaster in Bottle Rocket Blue Flake definitely fits the bill! Dinosaur Jr band leader, J Mascis has been wielding Fender offsets for most of his career and has already lent his talents to a signature Squier Jazzmaster, and this Telecaster is a fitting tribute to his favourite guitar, a top-loading ‘58 Tele. Featuring a slick mirrored pickguard and J Mascis Custom ‘58 Tele pickups, this is perfect for those noise rock, alternative riffs and soundscapes that make Dinosaur Jr such a genre defining band!

Let’s round things off with another offset shall we? The Fender Ben Gibbard Mustang is the weapon of choice for Death Cab For Cutie main man, Ben Gibbard. A fan of ‘70s Mustangs for their compact dimensions and versatility, Gibbard’s collection of heavily modded Mustangs have formed the bedrock of Death Cab’s sound. This signature model is super spec heavy and features a chambered Ash body, vintage-inspired custom Ben Gibbard pickups and a 3-way rotary switch selector. From cutting treble heavy tones through to those lush, driving Death Cab riffs, this Mustang is a real pocket rocket, with a sound and feel that extends well beyond its compact frame!
