Instagram is full of killer guitars, but one brand that seems to feature in more content than others, (at least on my feed) is Duesenberg. A favourite of John Mayer, Mike Campbell and even Bob Dylan, Duesenberg have carved their own niche as a stunning alternative to the myriad of USA crafted guitars.

Their catalogue is stacked, it’s full of vibrant designs and innovative features, and the real highlight of the line is the Starplayer. Since the crafting of the very first Starplayer in a Hannover basement back in '95, Duesenberg have taken their place among guitar’s elite. Their unique fusion of impeccable construction and 50's art deco flair making them a brand you can't ignore.

The Starplayer is available in a range of incredible finishes, from the more traditional Black, Vintage White and Sunburst, they also offer an unrivalled selection of Sparkle and Pearl finishes too. Regardless of the colour, every Duesenberg looks a million dollars, as Glenn Fry says, “Duesenberg are the Mercedes of guitar!” 

The semi hollow design with sustain block allows for a stable, rich, resonant and dynamic tone. A realmplayers favourite, the Starplayer is suited to just about every style of music around, not only do they sound great but the playing experience is out of this world. Comfort like no other, and the trem, man the tremolo is something else. A Duesenberg Deluxe Tremolo offers incredible vibrato and tuning stability and is a real thing of beauty, flawless construction and super smooth and precise operation.

The Maple neck boasts an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, D shape profile, 22 jumbo frets and a 12" radius. It's supremely comfortable and offers a great playing experience right up the neck, whether you want to lay down some big chords or tear up the fretboard, the Starplayer is fully equipped to deliver.

A Duesenberg P90 at the neck and a GrandVintage Humbucker at the bridge prove to be a knockout pairing. Super dynamic and with incredible clarity they are versatile and offer a great depth of tone.
