Novo Signature Solus H1 | Cerasus - Cherry Blossom Engraved

Within the Novo Signature Series, Dennis Fanos creativity really is allowed to shine through. There truly are no limits as to what a Novo Signature instrument can be, if Dennis can dream it, then he can certainly build it! Were thrilled to finally be able to present Signature Series instruments as part of our incredible Novo guitars offering.

This seriously cool instrument was originally released and displayed at the 2025 NAMM show in Anaheim, California. During our first day at the show, we stopped by the Novo stand to catch up with our good friends and to film some content for our social media. Whilst at the show, our attention was instantly captured by a unique instrument reflecting light out of the corner of our eye. After a few conversations, we were thrilled to secure this awesome, one of a kind instrument. This guitar absolutely stole the show, and were so excited to present it to you all. Introducing, the Novo Signature Series Cerasus

The Novo Signature Series Cerasus is a remarkable collaboration between Dennis Fano and metal engraver, Cameron Painter! Cameron Painter, a previous Novo employee, spent many years working alongside Dennis and honed his craft as seriously impressive designer and builder. After many successful years working at Novo, Cameron embarked on a new adventure and spent many years learning and developing his craft as a metal engraver. Through the use of hand-push tool and traditional techniques, Cameron is able to painstakingly engrave intricate and ornate designs with truly incredible details.

This project originally began way back in 2023 and has been worked on ever since. Both Dennis and Cameron are extremely busy people, so finding free time in their schedules was always difficult. But thankfully, the stars aligned, and this truly awesome instrument was completed and displayed at Novos booth at the 2025 NAMM show. Were thrilled to have this awesome guitar here with us at Peach Guitars.

The Cerasus is an awesome take on Novos incredibly popular Solus H1 design. It features a unique metal top engraved with a custom Cherry Blossom & Warbling White-Eye design. This incredible design has been precisely engraved into the metal top using traditional hand tools. The fact this engraving has been done by hand makes this guitar feel extra special. Its those personal details that help bring this guitars awesome story to life. This metal top is paired up with a German carved Mahogany body which features a rich Cherry Red stain

Here is what Cameron had to say about the design process - "Dennis and I began this project in mid to late 2023. We were inspired by cherry blossom trees and decided to use that motif throughout the design. The bird is a warbling white-eye which can be found eating the blossoms of the cherry trees. I wanted the bird to appear as if its attention was caught by something. As if it was listening to something. Perhaps the player. Dennis provided me notes and encouragement with every iteration until we found the design that worked."

The Mahogany neck is extremely comfortable and easy to navigate. The Chunky "C" shaped neck feels great in your hand, it's the perfect option for this awesome guitar. The Ebony fingerboard is super dark in colour, which contrasts beautifully against the metallic nature of the guitars body. It features a 24.75" scale length, medium frets, a 1.687" nut width and beautiful aluminium ring inlays.

A guitar this awesome needs a pickup up to the challenge. It's loaded with a singular Fralin Pure PAF pickup, which delivers classic humbucker tones with loads of clarity, punch, and vibe. This pickup has also features custom engraving by Cameron Painter, giving this guitar a seamless, coherent look. The TonePros T-O-M bridge and Staggered Kluson tuners deliver great stabilty and control over this awesome instrument.
