Josh Smith is one of the hottest players on the modern blues scene. After causing a stir as a child prodigy, he has gone on to be an Emmy nominated songwriter and one of Nashvilles finest players.

The Morgan JS12 Josh Smith Signature was born from the need to have a vintage style low wattage tweed amp for a performance with Mick Jagger at the Grammys.   

Based around the popular Morgan PR12, the JS model features some of the mods that Joshs personal PR amps feature. With classic Blackface tones but with substantially more juice on the low end, this amp is the ultimate grab and go amp. With a super responsive built in reverb and 3db boost switch, you can get true grit even at low volume. 2x 6V6 power tubes and 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes deliver delicious tones every time, it will always find its place in the mix.

Featuring an Eminence JS1250 speaker, this amp is specd exactly as Josh intended. Its really reactive to pedals and at just 12w is brilliant in the studio.

Fully handwired in the states, this little box of tricks is authentically vintage and produces a super versatile sound. Finished in a stunning lacquered Tweed, the Morgan JS12 is one super spec'd little amp.
