These pickups are the latest addition to our "Lonestar" Series of pickups, joining the infamous "Untitled" and of course, the set that put the series on the map the "Number ones". Those pickups absolutely nail the iconic "SRV Sound".
For all Stevie fans, we know his tone changed a lot over the years - so we had an idea to offer a new set designed for a specific era of tone. These pickups are reverse engineered from John's very own "Number One" Tribute guitar from the Custom Shop. Which were of course, reverse engineered from the OG Guitar "First Wife". These pickups can do all of the Stevie stuff but they really have a certain thickness that's very similar to his later tones heard on the iconic '89 performance from ACL.

This collaboration came from speaking to Mark Foley at MF Guitars on Instagram. We had mutual connections in Matt Schofield, Scott Mckeon and Eli Lester, so it made sense for us to work together.

If you don't want to go full Texas mode with super heavy strings and Eb tuning, then this set may suit a little better, as they just have a little extra "Muscle"
The pickups are made in very small batches by Mark at his workshop in the UK, so please don't delay, get a set ordered!
To help reduce the environmental impact of these pickups they will ship without pickup covers. You will receive the pickups in plain recycled packaging. Each are stock polarity and are perfectly balanced between each position. Available exclusively at Peach Guitars
