Back in the '50s and '60s Magnatone Electronics were a really key player in the development of vibrato loaded tube amps, finding favour with players such as Lonnie Mack and Neil Young, they were a prominent amp manufacturer up to the mid-1970s. With the help of ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons, Magnatone was revived in 2013 with a range of vintage inspired tone machines!
The Twilighter picks up were the classic American combo amps of the past left off. With 4 6V6 power tubes and a GZ34 rectifier, the Twilighter offers 22 watts of clean, robust tone in a 2x12" speaker combo that is light yet durable. Add the tube driven reverb, tremolo, and varistor true pitch shifting vibrato and you have a new American classic that is sure to please! Never before has this effect been recreated in its original form, Magnatone's Stereo Pitch Shifting Vibrato is truly dimensional sound.
Based on the Custom 200 Series that was produced between 1957 and 1961, the Twilighter brings this vintage gem right into the 21st century.
