Crafted under the expert guidance of Slash and Magnatone's long-time engineer, Obeid Khan, the SL-100 is a sonic powerhouse. Based on the Magnatone Super Fifty-Nine M-80 but taken to new heights, this amplifier delivers monstrous tone, exceptional gain, and the headroom necessary to meet Slash's iconic style.
With a quartet of EL-34 valves in a British-type circuit, the SL-100 ensures clarity, headroom, and that distinctive Slash grind both on stage and in the studio. The pre-amp, featuring four 12AX7/ECC83 valves, offers two distinct gain modes - LO and HI - accessible via the included footswitch or front control panel.
In LO gain mode, experience vintage Super Lead tones with fortified lows and controlled highs, while HI gain mode showcases a cascaded gain pre-amp designed for Slash's humbucker guitars. The amp remains responsive even at high gain settings, allowing your guitar's unqieu voice to shine through. The SL-100 is not confined to a specific genre; it's a versatile, dynamic amplifier.
Designed for flexibility, the SL-100 is pedal-friendly with an on-board effects loop, handling boost pedals seamlessly.
