The latest model from Knaggs is the beautiful offset wonder, the Tuckahoe. Named after the Tuckahoe Creek which flows into the Choptank River and then into Chesapeake Bay, it's easy to see where Knaggs get their name inspiration from! Reminiscent of the classic Firebird design, the Tuckahoe is an innovative and flawlessly designed solid body that delivers massively on tone and playability. With a lush Mahogany body, finished in a earthy Tobacco Burst semi-gloss, it has a punchy tone, is perfectly balanced, and is super resonant.
The Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and boasts an old school 6 in a line headstock. It's smooth, beautifully finished and balanced, and with great access right up the neck; this guitar is at home playing a wide range of styles. With Gotoh tuners and a Knaggs Chesapeake tremolo bridge, this guitar has great tuning stability and offers a playing experience unlike any other.
A guitar like this needs a versatile and powerful pickup pairing. Loaded with Bareknuckle Aftermath humbuckers, the Tuckahoe is a tonal monster. These pickups have a crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation.
