Founded back in 2009 by long time PRS designer Joe Knaggs, Knaggs Guitars experienced team of world class luthiers craft guitars of the very highest standard. With guys like Steve Stevens and Doug Rappaport on their roster, Knaggs build guitars for some of the finest players around.
Constructed with precision, the Knaggs Choptank features a roasted Swamp Ash body, stained Butterscotch with a gloss finish. Atop rests a Wenge pickgaurd, contrasting the Butterscotch body perfectly with its rich dark grain. The Tier 1 Roasted Figured Maple set-neck, measuring 25.5" in scale length, is complemented by an East Indian Rosewood fingerboard with a 8.5" radius, 22 frets, dot inlays, an ebony headstock veneer, and a bone nut.
Equipped with Fralin Blues Special Tele Pickups - high-output Alnico V single-coils. These pickups deliver punchy, warm tones with clear definition, effectively taming the harsh top-end of T-type guitars.
