Featuring a 26.5" scale length, this model offers improved string tension and clarity for the lower range, making it especially suitable for modern metal, progressive rock, and other heavy genres.
Its lightweight poplar body is ergonomically contoured and features an arched top for added comfort during long playing sessions. The bolt-on one-piece maple neck includes graphite reinforcement rods and a scarf joint, enhancing structural stability and improving tuning reliability under heavier string gauges. This neck construction also promotes a balanced tonal response and extended sustain.
The JS32-7 DKA HT comes fitted with a 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard, which is more curved at the nut for easier chording and progressively flattens toward the body for smoother soloing and wide bends. With 24 jumbo frets and distinctive piranha tooth inlays, this fingerboard is designed for both speed and precision across all playing styles.
Electronics include two direct-mounted Jackson high-output humbuckers, delivering powerful, aggressive tones with clear articulation across all seven strings. Controls include a three-way blade selector, single volume, and tone knobs, allowing for quick tonal adjustments. The Jackson HT7 hardtail bridge is a fixed, string-through-body design that improves resonance and tuning stability. Additional hardware features include sealed die-cast tuners and a 3x4 Jackson AT-1 headstock layout.
