The slanted body back, coupled with a comfortably rounded edge and chambered body, results in a lightweight, well-balanced instrument perfect for extended playing sessions.
Crafted with precision, the Poplar Burl top and selected lightweight African Mahogany body contribute to a warm tone with rich resonance. The 9-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck, reinforced with graphite rods, enhances note attack, provides tight lows, and increases sustain, complemented by the Panga Panga fretboard with its beautiful wood grain. The Nordstrand Big Split custom pickups, featuring hum-cancelling construction, offer a hybrid P/J style tone characterised by richness and balance, fitting well with various playing styles. The bass also features a Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ with an EQ bypass switch, providing a wide range of tonal options. The MR5HS mono rail bridge, designed for EHB basses, ensures wide intonation range, with adjustable saddles catering to individual string spacing preferences.
