A lightweight Alder body is finished in the iconic Daphne Blue Lush Closet Classic, one of Fenders all time classic finishes, its a real beauty! The Closet Classic is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been religiously polished throughout the years and whose owner took pride in keeping it clean and shiny. Over time the finish started showing age and like a fine wine it evolved into something complex and refined. With moderate finish checking, oxidation of hardware, and mild discoloration of parts, this finish is distinctive and authentic.
The plain grain Maple neck and fingerboard offers a 9.5" radius, medium jumbo frets, and 60 C profile, it can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The AAA Rosewood fingerboard is stunning and feels great underhand.
With a trio of Fender Custom Shop 60 pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. This combination is super versatile and offers the complete Stratocaster experience.
