The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '65 Stratocaster relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A traditional Alder body is finished in a majestic Candy Tangerine Relic finish. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The rift sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius, clay dot inlays and 21 frets, the '65 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '65 Strat C neck shape. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop '64 Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. This is a premium Strat and we can't wait to get our hands on it!
