The Gretsch G6120T-BSSMK Brian Setzer Signature Nashville Hollow Body '59 "Smoke" is a tribute to Brian Setzer's main stage guitar. This single-cutaway hollow body features an arched laminated maple top with 1959 trestle bracing and oversized F-holes for enhanced projection. Its maple neck has a 9.5"-12" compound radius ebony fingerboard and a vintage 'V' profile. Dual TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity pickups provide a classic tone. The guitar also includes an Adjusto-Matic bridge, Bigsby B6CGH vibrato tailpiece, Gotoh locking tuners, and period-correct appointments. The semi-gloss "Smoke Orange" finish and rolled edges provide a vintage feel.

This guitar pays homage to a pivotal figure in rockabilly and swing music, Brian Setzer, whose career spans from the Stray Cats to the Brian Setzer Orchestra. This signature model embodies both the vintage aesthetics and the performance enhancements that Setzer has incorporated into his instruments over the years.
The "Smoke" features a 2.5" single-cutaway hollow body constructed with an arched laminated maple top and 1959 trestle bracing. These features, combined with oversized F-holes, contribute to improved sonic projection, making the guitar acoustically resonant and suitable for stage use. The semi-gloss "Smoke Orange" lacquer finish, along with rolled fingerboard and body edges, provides a comfortable, broken-in feel reminiscent of vintage G6120s from the 1950s.
The guitar's neck is crafted from maple and features a 9.5"-12" compound radius ebony fingerboard. The vintage 'V' neck shape caters to both comfortable chording and fast lead playing. Period-correct details extend to the '59 headstock shape and logo, pickguard shape, size, and bracket, as well as the placement of the volume, tone, and switch controls.
Sonically, the "Smoke" is equipped with dual TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity pickups. These pickups are designed to deliver a classic tone with a strong bass response and the characteristic shimmer of Filter'Tron pickups. The guitar also features a master volume control with a treble bleed circuit, individual neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a three-position pickup toggle switch, and a three-position tone switch, all positioned in period-correct locations.
For reliable performance, the G6120T-BSSMK includes an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a pinned rosewood base, a Bigsby B6CGH vibrato tailpiece with a black handle screw, a Delrin nut, and Gotoh locking tuning machines. These components ensure tuning stability and allow for expressive vibrato use. The guitar also features mother-of-pearl Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and nickel hardware.
