Baggs VTC electronics provide easy plug-and-play capability for stage and studio use. The guitar comes with a hardshell case.

The Gibson Keb' Mo' "3.0" 12-Fret J-45 Vintage Sunburst is the third artist model collaboration between Gibson and five-time Grammy winner Keb' Mo'. This guitar is designed to suit a variety of musical styles and playing techniques. A key feature is its 12-fret neck-to-body joint, which provides a distinct tonal character and enhanced playing comfort. This design shifts the neck's position, resulting in a rounder, fuller sound compared to 14-fret guitars.
The guitar's construction includes a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, known for its balanced tone and responsiveness. The back and sides are crafted from mahogany, contributing warmth and richness to the overall sound. Traditional hand-scalloped advanced X-bracing further enhances the top's resonance and projection. The 25" scale mahogany neck features a custom Keb' Mo' profile, designed for comfortable playability. A rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius and mother-of-pearl dot inlays provides a smooth playing surface. Open-back Grover tuners ensure stable and precise tuning.
The Keb' Mo' "3.0" is equipped with L.R. Baggs electronics, specifically the VTC system, which is soundhole mounted and controls volume and tone. This system makes the guitar ready for both studio recording and live performances. The guitar comes with a hardshell case for protection during transport and storage. Other features include multi-ply top binding, single-ply back and fretboard binding, a bone nut and saddle, a rosewood belly down bridge, and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The guitar's aesthetic is understated, with no pickguard and a classic Vintage Sunburst finish.
