This Gibson Custom 60th Anniversary model recreates those cherished original models
This Gibson Custom '61 Les Paul SG is just about as good as it gets! With the classic lightweight Mahogany body, finished in a beautiful Cherry Red VOS, this SG is the same mega tone machine we all know and love. Thanks to the Nitrocellulose Lacquer this SG is able to breathe and resonate much more effectively when compared to other finish types, and with the iconic '61 Long Guard pickguard this guitar looks the real deal.
The solid Mahogany neck is topped with a lush bound Indian Rosewood fingerboard, complete with Trapezoid inlays this is a true vintage inspired masterpiece. Unlike normal Mahogany guitars, the SG is nice and light thanks to its thinline profile and simplistic design. With an authentic '61 thin profile, 24.75" scale length, a 12" radius and 22 medium Jumbo frets, it's comfortable and super familiar.
With a duo of Gibson Custom Buckers it offers bite and a super responsive, well-rounded tone.
