Fulltone Custom Shop WahFull | Fixed Wah
Can Also Be Expression Pedal Controlled
Around 1999 Robin Trower contacted Michael Fuller and asked him to achieve a parked-wah sound, created by leaving a wah pedal in a special spot where the mids are singing with feedback - as made famous by Michael Schenker and Jimmy Page. Michael made one for Robin and never thought about it again until he got multiple messages per day asking him to release it. A second one was made for Joe Satriani, some very useful features were added and the Fulltone Custom Shop WahFull was released.
The extra features were adding a Volume Control, three selectable Range Modes (Wacked, Jimi, and Shaft) , a Pickup Compensator mini knob (humbucker guys rejoice!) and JFET input and output buffers. These buffers completely isolate the circuit from outside influence and are only in-play when the pedal is ON, giving it a much broader range of wah effect, interfacing with all types of pickups better and working with any amp whether it be hi-gain or clean. Turns a Fender into a Vox and allows infinite sustain with little or no distortion.
- Small footprint, only 4" x 4.5" with top-mounted jacks.
- Expression pedal control jack for traditional wah operation.
- Fulltone's exclusive Enhanced Bypass - no 'pop' when switcing and the best of buffered and true-bypass pedals.
- More than a parked-wah - simulate different amps and drastically alter your sound for tones to cut through in live and in the studio.
