With memory space for 16 customisable IRs, and coming pre-loaded with 8 popular Fryette and Sound City cab IRs, you can be sure to find the best match for your amp and if that doesn't suite you, you can disable all IRs and use your own external emulation via the many ANALOG OUTs.
For silent practice, the Power Load IR contains a high-quality stereo headphone amplifier with a stereo effects loop, allowing you to insert delays and reverb pedals into the headphone mix, as well as a Program Input that accepts a stereo music source. For live performance, you can place the Power Load IR in between your amp and cabinet, sending the XLR with either or both cab sims direct to the Front of House PA and Monitor board.
Even when the unit is not powered, it can still be used as a loadbox for silent recording through ANALOG OUT 1 and you'll still be able to use the passive high and low frequency switches on the front.
This comprehensive total reactive load solution offers incredible dynamics, feel and studio-quality performance in a convenient, affordable, and lightweight portable package that sits neatly on top of any amplifier up to 200W at 2/4, 8, or 16 Ohm speaker output.
