The SS100-v2 is a 100-watt EL34 powered, three channel high gain tone machine that is capable of producing many styles of music from blues to classic rock and from heavy rock to metal by simply adjusting the gain and master controls. When designing the V2 Dale & Steve decided to re-voice the dirty channels to be more percussive and more dynamic while retaining the high gain plexi-like tones the original was known for. The clean channel, known for high headroom and sparkling cleans, was un-touched (perfection doesn’t need alteration!). You will notice instantly, the tight bottom end and rich harmonically detailed chords and single notes. This amp cleans up remarkably well with the guitar's volume control, even with the amp on higher gain settings.
On the front panel you’ll find three channels: a clean with an independent tone stack, a dirty channel and boosted channel sharing a tone stack allowing you to dial in plethora of voicings. Channel switching and boosts are accessed via the front panel or the footswitch jack on the rear panel.
The SS100-V2 takes pedals very well and loves boosts, OD's, phasers, flangers, tremolos, wahs, etc. The SS100-V2 has ultra transparent Series FX loop that takes time based FX pedals and rack units equally well.
