The Fender Player Telecaster is a new line for 2018, building on the success of the Mexican Standard it offers an affordable way for everyone to experience what makes the Tele so special. We always try to keep a great range of guitars for our left handed friends and the Player Series offers a wide selection for the south paw player!
The traditional Alder body is typically well balanced and comfortable, as all Tele's are, and with a crisp Black finish it looks real slick. Its super resonant and authentic Fender tone, from the glassy highs to the rugged lows, this is a true Telecaster.
The Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. With a C shape profile and 22 medium jumbo frets, it offers a really comfortable playing experience; its equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work.
A pair of Player Series single coils provide classic Tele twang with a real modern flavour. Offering a touch more bite than traditional Telecaster pickups, the Player Series are crisp and articulate. With bent-steel saddles and a string through body, this Telecaster has precise intonation and that little bit of extra sustain we all want.
