The Fender Custom Shop introduces the Limited Edition Roasted '54 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster. Featuring a two-piece select ash body with a Desert Sand Journeyman Relic finish, this guitar offers exceptional resonance with clear highs, balanced midrange, and tight lows. The one-piece roasted quartersawn maple neck, with a special 70th-anniversary Soft "V" profile, ensures smooth playability with its 9.5" radius fingerboard, 21 narrow tall frets, and 1.625" bone nut. Hand-wound '54 Strat pickups deliver classic Strat tones through vintage wiring and five-way switching. Premium features include an eight-hole gold anodised pickguard, vintage-style tuners, a Custom Shop vintage synchronised tremolo bridge, and a special 70th Anniversary neck plate. It comes with a deluxe embroidered hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity, making it a must-have for collectors and players alike.

To mark the 70th anniversary of the iconic Stratocaster, the Fender Custom Shop presents the Limited Edition Roasted '54 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic. This guitar features a two-piece select ash body with an offset seam on the treble side, providing exceptional resonance with clear highs, balanced midrange, and tight lows. It comes with a striking Journeyman Relic lacquer finish in Desert Sand, adding to its vintage appeal.
The guitar is equipped with a one-piece roasted quartersawn maple neck, crafted with a special 70th-anniversary Soft "V" profile based on a historic Strat neck from July 1954. The neck is complemented by a 9.5" radius fingerboard with 21 narrow tall (6105) frets and a 1.625" bone nut, offering smooth playability and precise intonation.
Three Custom Shop hand-wound '54 Strat pickups provide the classic Stratocaster sound, characterised by clear, bell-like highs. These pickups are connected through vintage '54 Strat wiring with a wax paper capacitor and five-way switching, giving players versatile tonal options.
This limited edition model combines 1950s-inspired aesthetics with premium features. It includes an eight-hole gold anodised pickguard, 1954-style ABS white pickup covers and control knobs, a Custom Shop vintage synchronised tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, and a disc string tree. Additional special touches include a 70th Anniversary Stratocaster neck plate, a deluxe embroidered hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity, making it a true collector's item.
