The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '59 Special Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sot for lightweight Alder body is finished in a super cool and classic Aged Olympic White. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The medium tint 3A Flame Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 6100 Jumbo frets, the '59 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '59 Esquire "C" neck shape which measures .790" at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th fret. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Poblano Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
