The Rift Sawn Maple neck boasts a vintage feel and ergonomic design for effortless playing. Fitted with Hand Wound Twisted Tele and Hand Wound Original Black Guard pickups, it captures the iconic Telecaster twang while offering versatility across tones. The Alder body is finished in a stunning Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst nitro lacquer, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The medium tint Rift Sawn Maple neck has a smooth, authentic, vintage feel. With a 9.5" radius, 21 6105 frets, a 1.650" Nut Width, 25.5"scale length, and 60s Style Oval "C" neck shape which measures .820" at the 1st fret and .890 at the 12th fret, it's a real joy to play.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '63 Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a Hand Wound Twisted Tele in neck and Hand Wound Original Black Gaurd in bridge, you can cover every tone you can think of. They are beautifully dynamic and handle both clean and gain incredibly well.
