Fender Custom Shop '60 Strat NOS Roasted MN Olympic White HSS

The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '60 NOS Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.

The Alder body is finished in a Vibrant Olympic White nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1960 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.

The Quartersawn Roasted Maple neck and fingerboardfeels great underhand, it also includes a 9.5"-12" compound radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The '60s style oval C shape measures .790" at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th fret. The inclusion 22 frets and a contoured neck heel offer a really comfortable playing experience.

With a duo of Fender Fat 60s single coil pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone. This one is a real powerhouse though; with an EVH Wolfgang zebra humbucker at the bridge you get unfiltered power and even greater tonal possibilities!
